God Has Uttered New Words

    Under a starry, quiet and peaceful night sky, a group of Christians earnestly awaiting the return of the Savior sing and dance to cheerful music. When they hear the joyful news “God has returned” and “God has uttered new words”, they are surprised and excited. They think: “God has returned? He has already appeared?!” With curiosity and uncertainty, one after another, they step into the journey of seeking God’s new words. In their arduous seeking, some people are questioning while others simply accept it. Some people look on without comment, while others make suggestions and search for answers in the Bible—they look but in the end it is fruitless…. Just when they become discouraged, a witness brings them a copy of the Bible of the Age of Kingdom, and they are deeply attracted to the words in the book. What kind of book is this really? Have they actually found the new words that God has uttered in that book? Have they welcomed the appearance of God?

On July 22, 2012, the day after the disaster, I hurried to visit a sister who just accepted God’s work of the last days two months ago. As soon as I entered her village, I was shocked at the scene before my eyes. The road caved in, and the roadbed below the asphalt pavement was uncovered. Everywhere were the broken stones washed down from the hills, the big ones weighing several tons, and the cumulate mud was as thick as 30 centimeters. The rainwater flowing down from the hills formed a stream…. The whole village was changed beyond recognition and was in a total mess.

July 21, 2012, is the most unforgettable day for me and also the most important day in my life experience.

That day, the rain came down in buckets in Fangshan District of Beijing. It was the heaviest rain in 61 years in our area. At past four in the afternoon, I went out into the street and saw that water was everywhere. Our car was floating, and it wasn’t washed away because something in front stopped it. At the sight of the scene, I got very anxious and hurried to phone my husband, but the line was always dead. At that time, I didn’t seek God’s will; instead, I hurried home to find him.

Each time I saw God’s words calling on us to be honest people and to speak accurately, I thought, “I have no problem with speaking accurately. For some time, although I had not ceased to eat and drink the words of God, I never felt the light. I had prayed to God for this but, afterward, I had still not been enlightened. So I thought, “I have eaten and drunk what I should have and God is not enlightening me. There is nothing I can do, and I do not have the faculty to receive God’s words. There is a time for God to enlighten each man, so there is no use in trying to rush it.” Afterward, I kept the rules and ate and drank the words of God without anxiety, “patiently” awaiting God’s enlightenment.
