On July 21, 2012, Beijing was struck by the worst rain in sixty years. In that rain, I saw God’s deeds and God’s salvation for man. That afternoon, we four sisters had a meeting together. It kept raining heavily outside. At half past four p.m., my unbelieving husband returned home and told us that the flood was so heavy at the roundabout that no one could cycle through it.

On July 21, 2012, it rained in heavy torrents. That day, I was just performing my duty. After we finished the meeting, I saw the rain had eased off, so I rode my bike and hurried home. When I got onto the road, I found that the flood from the mountain rushed down like waterfall, and the rainwater splashed everywhere on the road, so that it was difficult to see the road surface.

Seeing God’s Hand in Disaster

On July 22, 2012, the day after the disaster, I hurried to visit a sister who just accepted God’s work of the last days two months ago. As soon as I entered her village, I was shocked at the scene before my eyes. The road caved in, and the roadbed below the asphalt pavement was uncovered. Everywhere were the broken stones washed down from the hills, the big ones weighing several tons, and the cumulate mud was as thick as 30 centimeters. The rainwater flowing down from the hills formed a stream…. The whole village was changed beyond recognition and was in a total mess.
